What is the definition of clean eating?

Clean eating is can be misleading sometimes. Instead of revolving around ingesting more or less specific things (for example, less calories or more protein), the thought is more about being aware of the food's pathway between its origin and your plate. In simpler terms, clean eating is about eating whole food, or "real" food that are not processed, refined, and handled, making them as near to nature as may be expected. However, modern food production has turned out to be sophisticated to the point that essentially eating whole food can be a testing recommendation nowadays.
