How many ounces should a newborn eat?

On an average, a new born baby drinks 1.5-3 ounces of milk every 2-3 hours. The quantity increase as the baby grows up. it may be get up to 3-4 ounces each feeding
It is very important to know in what amount you should feed a child. A mother has many questions regarding the formula feeding when she switches from breast milk to formula or she has decided to formula feed baby from the beginning. It is recommended to feed the baby whenever they are hungry. This is also called demand feeding.

Most babies are formula-fed feed every 2 to 3 hours. As they get bigger and their stomach can hold more food they usually eat every 3 to 4 hours. On an average a baby needs 1-5-3 ounces of milk every 2 to 3 hour, do not exceed this limit.
