Slouching or Slumping solely may not cause the back pain. But after the back has been injured or strained, bad posture can make the pain even worse. One may not feel the ill-effects after sitting with a bad posture for a few hours, but over time the stress that it places on the spine can cause anatomical changes in the spine. This, in turn, can initiate the back pain through the compression of the blood vessels and nerves. In addition to this, the stress from poor posture can lead to lower back pain by problems with your discs, muscles, and joints.

Yeah, bad posture or poor sitting habit is one of the main causes of lower back pain. This kinda sitting puts a lot more pressure on the muscles, and discs and thus triggered lower back pain. Stop slouching, bending, lifting heavy weight can lower the risk of lower back pain. Also, do regular exercise to remain fit.
