What causes a hydrocele?

A hydrocele is a term used for a sac filled with fluid that usually forms around a testicle. They are most common in babies. According to the many internal organizations and institutes, nearly 10% of men are born with a hydrocele. However, they can impact men of any age.

They generally do not pose any threat to the testicles. Hydoroceles are painless and vanish without treatment. But incase you develop scrotal swelling, see your physician to rule out other causes such as testicular tumour.

Types of Hydroceles:-
There are 2 types of hydroceles as given below: -

1. Noncommunicating
2. Communicating
