Migraine occurs on which side of head?

Migraine may be responsible for pain all over the head, but the pain associated with it usually begins with from one side of the brain. The pain that is concentrated on one side of the head is called unilateral pain.

In majority of cases of Migraine, the pain is concentrated on one side of the head. The term migraine comes from a Latin word hemicrania. This is a term used to describe pain on one side of the head.

In few individuals, migraine attack may always occur on the same side of the head while in others it may occur on either side.
